Welcome to Muse. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Muse mobile application (the "App") operated by Muse ("we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using Muse, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Muse. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agrees to these Terms.

2. your account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You may not impersonate another person or use a misleading username.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You may delete your account at any time from the profile settings screen.

3. content you post

ownership

You retain ownership of the photos, captions, and other content you post on Muse ("Your Content"). By posting content, you grant Muse a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the App. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account.

AI processing

When you log an outfit, our AI analyzes your photo to identify clothing items and generate product-style images for your wardrobe. By using this feature, you consent to your outfit photos being processed by our third-party AI service providers for this purpose. Generated images are stored in your wardrobe and are subject to the same visibility settings as your other content.

content guidelines — zero tolerance

Muse has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You agree not to post, upload, or share content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or hateful
• Contains nudity, sexually explicit material, or sexually suggestive content
• Sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors in any way
• Promotes self-harm, violence, or dangerous activities
• Targets individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
• Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
• Contains spam, advertising, solicitations, or scams
• Impersonates another person or misrepresents your identity
• Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code

reporting and enforcement

You can report any post, comment, profile, or community that violates these guidelines using the in-app report buttons. We review and act on every report within 24 hours. When we find a violation, we will remove the offending content immediately and may suspend or permanently terminate the responsible account without prior notice.

You can block any user at any time using the block button on their profile. Blocked users cannot see your content, follow you, comment on your posts, or message you. We also use automated content filtering on all uploaded photos and text to detect and prevent objectionable material before it is posted.

We do not tolerate users who repeatedly violate these guidelines, attempt to evade bans by creating new accounts, or harass other members of our community. Such users will be permanently removed from Muse.

4. communities

• Communities are created and managed by users.
• Community admins are responsible for moderating their communities.
• We may remove communities that violate these Terms.
• Public communities are open to all users. Private communities require approval from an admin to join.

5. acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers
• Scrape, crawl, or collect data from the App by automated means
• Circumvent any access controls or security measures
• Use the App to send unsolicited communications
• Create multiple accounts to evade bans or restrictions

6. intellectual property

The Muse name, logo, and App design are our intellectual property. You may not use our branding without written permission. The App's source code, design, and features are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

7. privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and share your information.

8. disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

AI-generated wardrobe analysis and item identification are provided for convenience and may not be perfectly accurate. We are not responsible for errors in AI-generated content.

9. limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Muse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of content, or interruption of service.

10. indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Muse and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. We reserve all rights not expressly granted in these Terms.

12. changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App. Your continued use of Muse after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
